Leave a Legacy

The “Legacy Endowment Fund Christ Church” is on its way to providing our congregation with a perpetual source of income in support of the church’s ministries and missions, as well as providing our membership a vehicle through which to make legacy gifts to the church.

The vision of the Endowment Fund is to provide for and to secure Christ Church’s future and that of its ministries, both global and local. Our Endowment Fund will complement and support the future needs of the church and its ongoing initiatives.

The mission of the Endowment Fund Team is to promote and administer the Christ Church Endowment Fund for the purpose of providing members and friends the opportunity to make charitable gifts to our church that will provide financial support and a living memorial for donors.

Gifts to the Endowment Fund can be made in many ways:

• Through estate gifts

• Through wills & bequests

Giving 101

A: The simple answer is we believe everything we have comes from God in the first place. We give because we believe God has entrusted us to be leaders for hope in our church and our community.

A: The Bible teaches that a guideline for giving is called the tithe (Leviticus 27:30). That is giving 10% of what we earn back to God first.

A: An offering is a gift given to a specific need, above and beyond our tithe.

Giving acknowledges God as the giver of everything we have (James 1:17).

Giving reflects our trust that God will provide for us (Matthew 6:19-24).

Giving allows us to be active participants in God's work on earth (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
