Redeemer Lutheran Church
Located on the edge of Marquette University campus and rooted in a neighborhood marked by both poverty and promise, Redeemer is excited about their community collaborations and partnerships to serve their neighbors.
Redeemer’s mission is to show and tell the love of God through Jesus Christ.
What They Do
Lunch at Olga’s - Offering community meals in partnership with local universities, food pantries, and volunteers. Offered three times a week, it encourages neighbors to come and be nourished by food and community.
Olga Neighborhood Wellness Center - Empowering individuals struggling with substance use disorder by offering holistic treatment programs focused on compassion, healing, and personal growth while fostering a compassionate community of accountability, guiding them on their journey to recovery.
How You Can Help
- Donate, cook, or bake food items for meals provided by Christ Church
- Serve a meal with the Christ Church group on a second Sunday of the month
- Serve a meal with students and volunteers on a Tuesday, Thursday, or other Sunday
