The Journey to Easter is traditionally called Lent and is a time of repentance, reflection, and preparation for the celebration of Easter. It is a period of 40 days that begins on Ash Wednesday and is meant to deepen faith, renew spiritual life, and focus on Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection.
At Christ Church, we take this time to dig deeper into Sunday messages and join in relationship with others through weekly Easter Groups, Reflection Guides, and Family Activity Packs. We’re once again supplementing these traditional resources with a weekly J2E Podcast this year.
Join us this Easter season, in whatever way you like best, as we learn how to have honest, grace-filled conversations about Jesus that respect others and lead with love.

Use these guides to facilitate your Easter Group or guide conversation with your family.
These are provided every week in the Message Hub & Archive, so once you build the habit over these six weeks, we encourage you to keep going!
Start with your heart.
Look beyond yourself.
Look for ways to love.
Much of the content for this year’s Journey to Easter message series and small groups comes from Doug Pollock’s book, God Space. This book is absolutely not required for this series and study, but if you’d like to dig deeper into the topics covered, you are welcome to pick it up.
